Run your first campaign
A campaign in CallHQ is a container for one or more sequences — ordered multi-step touches (email, SMS, LinkedIn, call) that a lead gets enrolled into and walks through over time.
1. Open Campaign Control
Go to /campaigns (admin-only) and open (or create) the campaign you pushed
leads into from the verify + push step.
2. Build a sequence
Inside a campaign, click Create sequence and add steps — each one an email, SMS, LinkedIn touch, or a call task, with its own delay from the previous step.
3. Enroll leads
Leads pushed to this campaign are enrolled into its sequence(s). From here, the cadence walker — a background process — advances every enrollment through its steps automatically:
- Each step is
guard()-gated the same way a manual send is (see verify + push) before it's allowed to fire. - Sends go out through n8n: Instantly for email, Telnyx for SMS.
- Under mock mode, sends are logged, not delivered — nothing a vendor reports
back will ever confirm a step, so an enrollment that looks "stuck" is
usually a mock-mode symptom. Check Tools (
/tools) first.
4. Automate future enrollment (optional)
Click Automate this on a sequence to save a standing rule: any newly
enriched lead matching this campaign's brand + track enrolls automatically,
with zero manual pushes going forward. This uses the same rule engine that
powers /flows.
5. Track results
Cadence Analytics (/cadence/analytics) shows per-step/per-sequence
send → open → reply → meeting rates and the overall funnel. A column showing
— means that stat genuinely hasn't synced yet (not that it's zero) — email
and LinkedIn stats sync as those vendor connections come fully online; SMS
stats read live from the outbox today.
